Project
Management
Information Technology offers unprecedented opportunities
to gain and hold a competitive advantage.
Most projects are
executed by teams of specialists, each of whom is among the
best in their field. Much like a construction contractor oversees
a multitude of trades and details, the IT Project Manager
is tasked with delivering forecasted results with the time,
funding and resources available for the project.
We manage everyday projects and the most demanding undertakings.
For example, InSite Media was the prime contractor for the
2001 Kiwanis Children's Television auction.

InSite Media developed an integrated Internet/Television auction
inclusive of custom software, an in-studio computer network
and live "feeds" into the production control room.
Given the high cost of television exposure and the limited
time-frame allowed for the program, it was deemed critical
to prevent any foreseeable scenario from interrupting the
web-based system for processing bids.
InSite Media managed the development of an end-to-end system
with 3 levels of redundancy. The system, flawlessly processed
approximately 9,000 bids from just over 25,000 active bidders
in just over 8 eight hours.
